Payment Options:
All lessons and courses are paid in advance; this reserves your lesson day and time. - you may pay in full at the beginning of the session. - or with post dated cheques or credit card for the beginning of each month. - we accept Debit, Visa, MasterCard, cheques or cash.
Lesson packages are non-refundable.
Our Policy Alcorn Music Studios is a local, independently owned, community based music school.
We employ the finest music instructors and respectfully provide a guarantee of payment for all lessons that are booked.
In order to maintain this high standard of quality music education to our students, Alcorn Music Studios has implemented a "no cancellation" policy.
We do understand that occasionally sports events, school projects and exams etc. will conflict with music lessons but we do not offer refunds or lesson credits.
If the teachers' schedule permits, we can occasionally offer an alternate lesson time that same day or week, or permanently move the regular lesson time.
In the event of an instructor being absent, and a substitute teacher is not available, the cancelled lesson will be added on to the end of your lesson package.
For adult music lessons, we offer some flexibility through our drop in lessons to accommodate a busy work schedule. Please contact us for more information.

Preview Lesson Preview lessons are an opportunity to sample a one time lesson and meet with the teacher. $25 for 1/2 hour, $27.50 for advanced 1/2 hour. Drop in Lesson Prices: Do you have a fluctuating schedule? Are you often out of town for business meetings? Do your work hours change frequently? Choose drop in lessons! Just call us a day or two in advance and we will do our best to find a time with the teacher of your choice. $25 for 1/2 hour, $27.50 for advanced 1/2 hour.

40 weeks September to June price $920 - Payment in full or monthly payment of $92. price per lesson - $23.00
20 weeks starting anytime price $480 - Payment in full or monthly payment of $96. price per lesson - $24.00
12 weeks starting anytime price $300 - Payment in full or monthly payment of $100 price per lesson - $25.00
One hour lessons, one lesson per week
40 weeks September to June price $1800 - Payment in full or monthly payment of $180 price per lesson - $45.00
20 weeks Starting anytime price $940 - Payment in full or monthly payment of $188 price per lesson - $47.00
12 weeks starting anytime price $576 - Payment in full or monthly payment of $192 price per lesson - $48.00
Intermediate/Advanced Student Prices or lessons with Tim Bedner, James O'Farrell, Nick Dyson or Elise Letourneau. We do not offer discounts on these lessons
30 minute lessons, one lesson per week 12 weeks $330 - Payment in full or monthly payment of $110 price per lesson - $27.50

Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced? If you are unsure whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student our music instructors will be happy to assess you at the first lesson. Generally grade four or five Royal Conservatory of Music or Conservatory Canada will be considered intermediate. Grade 6 and above will be considered advanced as well as students preparing for University auditions, studying composition & theory at the University level. |
